Anyone who spent time with Richard knows he was chaos theory in the most magnificent, beautiful way. Even the most serious engineers turned into little children in his presence—or just fell to the floor unconscious. He built an entire practice, an entire morphic field, on a single quantum principle. And I came forth with the language to describe it.
It was his living desire, and his dying wish, for me to carry this work forward. So I do.

Matrix Energetics Beyond—la Scienza e l’Arte della Trasformazione.
Two days in Milan with Melissa, working live with whatever shows up in the room—no fixed script, just the field and what it wants to do next. English throughout, with simultaneous Italian translation across the full weekend, so the room stays continuous and at home in both languages.
Her in-person gatherings tend to fill, and this one is being kept intentionally small—a room held for a limited number of people, close enough that nothing gets lost. The two days move through real teaching and live demonstration, and then you step in and work with it yourself, hands-on and in real time. It’s substantive—and it’s meant to be played with, not only understood.

Melissa teaches in English. Barbara Annonni and Isabella Ranieri translate simultaneously into Italian across both days, keeping the field continuous in both languages.
About the Setting
We gather at AC Hotel Milan Sesto, in Sesto San Giovanni—a quiet, well-connected pocket on the northern edge of Milan, with direct metro access into the city centre. A calm, private room held just for us, with space enough for the field to breathe. Nothing fussy. The room is only ever a container; what fills it is the work.
Getting There
The immersion is held at AC Hotel Milan Sesto, in Sesto San Giovanni, in greater Milan. By metro, it’s a few minutes’ walk from Sesto Marelli (M1, the Red Line)—Milan’s main metro line, with a direct connection to the city centre and roughly 20 minutes from Milano Centrale.
From the airports. Milan Linate is about 20 minutes by car; Milan Malpensa about 45 minutes by car or train; Bergamo Orio al Serio about 40 minutes by car. By car, the hotel is easily reached from Milan’s main motorways and ring roads, in a modern, well-served area—with cafés, restaurants, and everyday services within a few steps.

A pathway, not a thing. That’s how Richard described Matrix Energetics—not a technique to be defined and applied, but a way of relating to the field of information that gives shape to everything we experience.
It begins with a light touch and the power of focused intent. From there, it can build into a smooth wave of change—in the body, in the situation, in the pattern. People in the seminar who’ve never done any healing work in their lives sometimes access the wave in the first ten minutes. Once you “get it”—the knack of the way you observe your reality—instantaneous change becomes available.
The framework draws on Sheldrake’s morphic resonance, on quantum physics, on the simple fact that biological information fields can reorganize. The science is permission, not explanation. You don’t have to understand it for it to work.
You only have to be willing to notice.

Richard’s first instruction. It is also the last. Whatever you notice—however small the logical brain may define it—is a new data point in the field.

The work changes the field around what hurts, so something can reorganize. Transformation stays in the body—in sensation, perception, relationship—rather than bypassing it to rise above.

Quantum principles—wave-particle duality, the observer effect, holographic structure—are used as permission slips, not explanations. As Melissa puts it: love is science, and that’s the scenic route to truth.

Do I need experience with Matrix Energetics to come?
None at all. A willingness to play is the only prerequisite. People who’ve never done any energy work before often feel the shift in the first ten minutes—and the two days give you real teaching and structure to build on from there. You don’t have to understand the work for it to work; you only have to be willing to notice.
Are there any health requirements I should be aware of before taking part?
The work is gentle and experiential. It’s offered for educational and transformational purposes and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care—please keep seeking professional help for any medical or mental-health concerns. What language is the event held in? Will there be translation?
Melissa teaches in English, with simultaneous Italian translation across both full days—Barbara Annonni and Isabella Ranieri hold the room in Italian the whole weekend. You’re at home here in either language.
What’s the difference between general admission and VIP?
General admission (€600) is your place in the room for both full days. VIP (€800) seats you closest to Melissa and the live demonstrations. Is seating assigned? Can I reserve a particular spot?
Seating is open within your tier—arrive a little early and settle where you’d like to be. The room is kept intentionally small, so there isn’t a far-away seat in it.

Your ticket covers both full days with Melissa, simultaneous Italian translation, and complimentary coffee breaks morning and afternoon. Meals aren’t included—but there’s wonderful food in and around the hotel, and we’ve gathered a few favorites in For Those Traveling In above.
Should I arrange my own accommodation and travel?
Yes—each participant books their own lodging and transport. What should I bring?
Just yourself, water, and something to write with if you like to take notes.
Can I change the name on my ticket, or pass it to someone else?
Yes. If your plans change or you’ve gifted your place to a friend, write to us at info@melissajoy.com with your order details and the new attendee’s name, and we’ll reissue the ticket.
I bought a ticket but didn’t receive it—what now?
First, check your spam and promotions folders. Your receipt and ticket arrive from our checkout (Stripe) right after purchase. If it still hasn’t turned up, write to info@melissajoy.com and we’ll resend it straight away.
Will the in-person event be recorded? Is there a replay?
No—the Milan immersion is live only; we won’t be recording this one. The work happens in the room, in real time, and there’s nothing quite like being there for it. If you can’t travel this time, the on-demand replays of past sessions above are a beautiful way in.
